Return Policy
At Yaffle, each wood carving and hand-knitted item in our store is entirely handcrafted with great care and attention to detail. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in wood texture, color tones, or knitting details may occur. This is not a defect, but a characteristic of handmade art.
We kindly ask you to carefully review the product descriptions, measurements, and photos before placing your order. However, returns are subject to the following conditions within your legal rights:
1. Non-Returnable Products (Exceptions)
According to the Distance Selling Contracts Regulation and international consumer laws, returns or exchanges are absolutely not possible in the following cases:

Personalized Products: Special orders prepared in custom sizes, colors, or with names/logos embroidered upon the buyer's request.

Used Products: Hand-knitted garments that have been tried on, washed, smell of perfume/sweat, or have lost their shape, for reasons of hygiene and preserving the product's texture.

Damaged Products: Wooden products that are scratched, broken, dropped, or deformed due to buyer error.
2. Return Period and General Terms

Except in cases where a return is not permitted, you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason.

The returned product must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, with all labels intact, and in its original packaging.

To initiate the return process, you must contact us at yaffle.woodart@gmail.com to obtain approval before sending the product back.
Packages sent without prior notification will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping Costs and International Shipments
In accordance with e-commerce laws and our store policy, shipping costs are regulated as follows:
Voluntary Returns: In standard returns made even though there is no defect in the product (e.g., "I changed my mind," "It arrived differently than expected," "The size didn't fit"), the return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the buyer (customer). The initial shipping cost will be deducted from the refund payment.
Defective/Incorrect Product: If the product arrives incorrectly or with a manufacturing defect, the return shipping cost will be covered by Yaffle. (This applies only to returns made via PTT Cargo).
International Returns: For returns from abroad, all shipping costs and any customs duties incurred are the responsibility of the buyer. If the return shipment is held up at customs or taxes are levied, this amount will be deducted from the refund amount. If customs costs exceed the product price, the shipment will not be accepted and the return process will be cancelled.
4. Damaged Delivery and Shipping Report
Our products are carefully packaged and checked before shipment.
If you notice any crushing, tearing, or wetting on the package when receiving it from the courier, you must not accept the package and have a "Shipping Damage Report" completed.
If the package is intact but the wooden/woven product inside is damaged during shipping, we kindly request that you record a video while opening the package and send it to us within 24 hours of delivery to prove the situation. Returns are not accepted for damage claims without a report or proof.
5. Return Process and Refund
Once your approved return package reaches us, it will be inspected by our expert team. The product's suitability for use (no unraveling in the weave, scratches in the wood, etc.) will be confirmed.
If the product meets the return conditions, your refund (after deducting any shipping and customs fees) will be made to your credit/debit card via iyzico's secure payment infrastructure.
It may take 3 to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your bank account or on your card, depending on your bank's processing times.
